Shaz Asghar, Founding Attorney
An immigrant himself who brings firsthand insight and over a decade of experience to every immigration case.
As an immigrant himself, Mr. Asghar brings firsthand experience with the U.S. immigration process to every case he handles — from the paperwork to the uncertainty of waiting for a decision. That personal understanding shapes his approach as the founder and managing partner of Asghar Law, where he has practiced immigration law since founding the firm, alongside civil litigation work in real estate law, bankruptcy, probate, family law, trusts and estate law, business entity formation, contract law, and sports and entertainment law.
Since founding Asghar Law in 2014, Mr. Asghar has represented 200+ naturalization applicants before the West Palm Beach USCIS district, part of a track record reflected in the firm's 400+ 5-star reviews on Google.
Mr. Asghar earned his Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2012, graduating with academic awards for excellence, following undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida, where he also received academic honors. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2014, the same year he founded Asghar Law. Following law school, Mr. Asghar trained under some of Florida's leading trial lawyers, building the courtroom skills he uses to fight for favorable outcomes for his clients today.
When he is not representing clients, Mr. Asghar enjoys lecturing at events on changes in the law and mentoring students from his alma mater as they prepare for the Bar exam and courtroom practice. He also played a key role in publishing the Florida Family Law workbook, a resource for new lawyers and law students.
