Bio
Omar Atalla, Director of Client Retention
Omar Atalla is a first-generation Palestinian American whose personal experiences have shaped his deep commitment to serving immigrant individuals and families from all walks of life.
Raised in a small town within a predominantly Mexican community, Omar developed an early appreciation for culture, family, faith, hard work, and the sacrifices many immigrant families make in pursuit of a better future. Having also lived in the Middle East, he has experienced life across different cultures and understands how deeply identity, family, and a sense of belonging can be tied to the place a person calls home.
These experiences gave Omar a personal appreciation for the impact immigration can have across generations and inspired his desire to help others navigate uncertain and life-changing circumstances.
For Omar, his work at Asghar Law is more than a profession. His approach to service is deeply rooted in his faith and his belief that every person deserves to be treated with empathy, kindness, dignity, and respect. He sees his role as an opportunity to serve others and to make sure each person who comes to the firm feels heard, valued, and welcomed.
Omar believes every immigration journey carries a story, often shaped by sacrifice, hope, and the desire to create a better life. Regardless of where someone comes from, what language they speak, or what circumstances brought them to the United States, he strives to meet them with compassion and understanding.
His guiding principle is simple: serve with compassion, lead with kindness, and never lose sight of the humanity behind every immigration journey.
