Ashley Baez Diaz, Paralegal
Ashley Baez Diaz is a Paralegal at Asghar Law with five years of experience in immigration law. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she brings both professional experience and a personal understanding of the U.S. immigration process, allowing her to connect with clients and appreciate the significance each case holds for individuals and families.
Before beginning her career in immigration law, Ashley worked in criminal law, where she gained valuable experience assisting clients through complex and often challenging legal matters. Today, she primarily supports family-based immigration cases, consular processing, and humanitarian applications.
In her role, Ashley assists with preparing and reviewing immigration forms, affidavits, cover letters, and supporting evidence. She also helps respond to Requests for Evidence and Notices of Intent to Deny, communicates with USCIS on behalf of clients, provides case updates, and serves as an important point of contact between clients and the attorney.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ashley is committed to making sure clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their cases. She approaches each matter with compassion, organization, and clear communication, and places a strong emphasis on building trust with the people she serves.
For Ashley, one of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing clients reach a positive resolution and witnessing the relief and happiness that come with achieving an immigration goal that may have taken years to reach.
Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys spending quality time with her family, working out, and staying active. She values time with the people she loves and enjoys making the most of life outside of work.
